In order to increase production and consequently revenue, mine owners & OEM's look to extend the period between maintenance strip downs. We measure the installed TRUE bolt tension rather than rely on highly inaccurate torque figures, we then regularly re-measure to determine the in-service relaxation. This data allows our clients to "push" out the time between re-builds.
Our service controlled the bolt pre-load in critical areas, improved the safety and eliminated tension inaccuracies. We also provided defect detection during the assembly process.
